Suprio Ghosh

Co-Founder & CEO

Suprio, who started Benjamin West India in 2012, renamed Malgrat in 2019, enjoys working closely with clients. He has also helped clients with more than 100 brownfield and greenfield projects in Procurement Management of FF&E and OS&E and spearheaded the business in South-East Asia.

 

Suprio’s vision is to optimise procurement for operating hotels and restaurant chains by fusing vendor management with a SaaS solution that empowers procurement teams and ownership groups to buy right the first time and deliver an enhanced guest experience.

 

Suprio started his career with CB Richard Ellis, moving to Citi bank, incorporate real-estate function finally moving to MetLife before starting Benjamin West in India. He earned an MBA and a degree in architecture. 

Suprio is married and a father of a son. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially while reading and listening to music on holiday.

Nilanjana Ghosh

Co-Founder & COO

A seasoned Media professional with more than 26 years of experience, Nilanjana has worked in multiple industries, from Television, Print media, and radio.

 

Nilanjana places supreme importance on values, relationships and people. When she joined NDTV in 1995, before working for Zee televisions and was excited by NDTV’s strong culture of teamwork, ethics and excellence, her decade at the company has seen her take on a series of leadership roles. Many of these projects required her having to work with large groups of people, effecting change within the organisation and across borders.  I started my Entrepreneurship journey almost 11 years back. Since then, she has been successfully taking care of the core responsibilities of being a founder member of Redbee Design and Development LLP. 

And later, she joined Malgrat as one of the critical members spearheading the company by being an integral part of all decision-making, thereby contributing to the company's growth.

 

Nilanjana graduated from Delhi University with an honours post-graduate degree in English literature.  She was subsequently completing her post graduate diploma journalism.

She enjoys activities such as singing and cooking.

Vikaashh Kripallani

Co-Founder & CMO

He supports Malgrat's leadership to craft the business strategy and organisational KRAs. 

 

Vikaashh is also a ‘personal success and business transformation coach’ and is currently based in Pune, India.

​

His experience building the sales and marketing functions of Asset Vantage – a wealth tech SaaS platform, enables him to ensure that Malgrat’s Go-to-Market strategy is based on success principles of acquiring early adopters who will help establish credibility and support rapid customer acquisition from within the industry. At the same time, Vikaashh will drive the company’s culture to being authentic, transparent, inclusive and value creating.

  

Vikaashh is a self-made entrepreneur. He started his journey at the age of 18 and has traversed varied industries of fashion, real estate and technology. He and his wife also successfully exited their patisserie venture, which gives Vikaashh the added edge of understanding the nuances of the HORECA industry.

 

Vikaashh loves playing tennis, travelling, progressive music and watching movies.

Tamal Chakravorty

Advisor - Technology

Tamal is a seasoned CIO who has worked in 7 different industry verticals in his career spanning 30 years now. He has worked for Arthur Andersen as a consultant, has had managerial stints with Caltex and Cargill after which he moved into General management function of IT in PepsiCo.

 

He worked as a CIO with Ericsson South Asia for 15 years and is currently at the helm of IT in Landmark Group Hospitality and Leisure division based out of Dubai. He is tasked to modernise IT in the hotel and restaurant division largely, as well as bring in state-of-the-art gameplay and fitness applications in the other LOBs.

 

He is a Commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce , Delhi and a Post graduate in business management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

 

He is an avid football lover and participates in corporate leagues. He is credited to have started the first corporate football tournament in Delhi called Delhi Merchant's cup. 

 

He also writes Linkedin articles on various topics of general interest ranging from new-age organisational structures to digital fuzziness to workplace politics.

Bhaskar De

Advisor - Vendor Management

Over the past 20 years Bhaskar has held multiple lead roles at Walmart, ranging from Project Management, Process Excellence, Master data maintenance, and Process Improvement .

Transition to his current role in Malgrat, Bhaskar has been driving the development for an array of business areas, including the firm’s fast-moving Vendor management and technology platform initiatives. 

 

Since his days with Standard Chartered Bank as part of electronic banking service team, Bhaskar has been a result-driven professional, he has always believed in the power of technology. 

 

Bhaskar also holds a science degree from Kolkata university. When not keeping up with the latest trends in technology and supply chain management, he also takes time out for his hobbies, which include spending time with his family, playing musical instruments, and cooking or listening to music.

Cyrus Madan

Advisor - Strategy & Growth

Hospitality veteran, Cyrus Madan, is a Senior Vice President with Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts and heads development for India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. Prior to this he was with Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, where he served as Senior Vice-President for Business Development and COO – Carnation Hotels. 

 

With more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Cyrus brings a wealth of domain expertise in working with brands, acquisitions (both land and hotels), hotel pre-openings and operationalising hotels.

 

Cyrus advises Malgrat management on business strategy and growth.
